AV Install Technician

We are looking to hire an experienced AV Technician who will work as a part of the field team to install and troubleshoot AV systems for our many exciting projects. This individual should have a firm knowledge of construction processes and standards, work well within a team, and have a strong drive to succeed. Additional low voltage experience with structured cabling, AV, security, access control, or surveillance is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Complete assigned duties involved in the installation, programming, and commissioning of AV systems accurately and within the allotted timeframe.
Coordinate with the team leader for allocation of resources needed to meet project objectives.
Support PM and engineering team as needed in maintaining customer communication and satisfaction
Adhere to and help ensure company staff and subcontractors adhere to established safety standards and legal requirements.
Follow consistent and repeatable field installation processes to maintain an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project installation results.
Proactively identify issues and address them in a timely and appropriate manner with support from leadership if needed.
Attend job progress meetings as required.

Qualifications:

Experience installing AV devices such as displays, projectors, speakers, touch panels, etc.
Experience racking AV equipment and power.
Experience programming and troubleshooting Crestron, AMX, Biamp, QSC and Control 4 systems.
Experience with low voltage projects related to mechanical, HVAC, fire, structured cable, access control preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with all company stakeholders including customers, subcontractors, and other Symphony personnel.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb multiple flights of stairs.
Valid drivers' license and ability to reliably commute is required.
Ability to pass drug test and/or background check.
