Atlanta RM Clayton/Chattahoochee Water Treatment Plants
Atlanta, Georgia
The City of Atlanta needed an updated security system, complete with a video system, throughout their water treatment plant.
With this unique installation, navigating the updating of chemical buildings, special wiring was required to meet the needs of this particular facility. Symphony ran OCAL conduit to protect the wires in the chemical buildings, ran special corrosive wiring throughout the entirety of the plant, installed water-proof and splash-proof NEMA 4x boxes, and a fiber-based video system. The greatest challenge faced in the heart of Atlanta with so much rock and stone, was the necessary directional boring for the plant’s underground utilities. Despite the challenges faced with boring and installation, Symphony completed the security update on time and on budget.
